Custom portal address
By default your team reaches Webelio at the address Webelio gives you. If you'd prefer a branded address of your own — such as hr.yourco.in — you set it up on the Custom Domains screen. Your team then signs in at your address, and it looks like part of your own website.
Open it from Custom Domains in the Organisation sidebar.
This is about the web address people visit to use Webelio — not email. Email addresses are handled on the Domain screen. A custom portal address is a nice-to-have that makes Webelio feel like your own.
Automatic secure HTTPS
Every custom address you add is secured automatically. Webelio issues and renews the security certificate for you, so your address always shows the padlock (HTTPS) in the browser. There's nothing to buy, install or renew — it's handled behind the scenes.
Adding a branded address
The exact steps depend on where your domain is managed. Webelio picks the right path for you when you start:
If Webelio already manages your domain
If you've already connected your domain on the Domain screen and let Webelio manage it, this is one click:
- On Custom Domains, choose Use a subdomain of your domain.
- Enter a prefix — for example
hrto gethr.yourco.in(the default iserp). - Save. Webelio sets everything up for you, and there's nothing to verify.
These addresses show an Auto badge because Webelio handles them end to end.
If you manage your domain elsewhere
If your domain is managed at your own provider:
- On Custom Domains, choose Connect an external domain and enter the address you want, such as
hr.yourco.in. - Webelio shows you a single record to add where your domain is managed. Add it.
- Come back and click Verify. Webelio checks the record points to it and marks the address active.
Either way, the first time someone visits your new address, Webelio secures it automatically and it's ready to use.
Use a subdomain (like hr.yourco.in or portal.yourco.in), not your bare domain (yourco.in). Subdomains keep your main website untouched and are what this feature supports.
Removing an address
You can remove a custom address at any time from the Custom Domains screen. Your team then goes back to using the default Webelio address. If Webelio set the address up for you, removing it also cleans up the record it added.
