Attendance regularization
Sometimes a day comes out wrong — someone worked but was marked absent, forgot to check out, or clocked in late for a genuine reason. Regularization is how the employee asks you to fix that day, with a note explaining why.
What an employee sends
From their employee portal, the person picks the day to correct, enters the actual in-time and out-time, adds a reason, and submits it for approval. Nothing about their attendance changes until you approve it.
Where requests land
You'll see regularization requests in two places — they're the same requests, shown wherever is convenient:
- The Regularization tab on the Attendance screen, alongside the grid.
- The unified Approvals queue, which lists both leave and attendance requests together. Filter to Attendance to see only these. The sidebar shows a count badge when requests are waiting.
Approving or rejecting
- Open the request and read the reason and the times the person entered.
- Approve to apply the correction — the day is updated with the new times, and the worked hours, lateness, and any overtime are recalculated from them. If the request only fixes one end (say, a missing check-out), Webelio keeps the other end from the original punch.
- Reject if it isn't right, and the day stays as it was.
An approved correction fixes the underlying day, so it flows into the monthly grid and, once you finalize, into payroll.
If manager approval is on, a person's requests go to their reporting manager first, then to HR. See approvals.
