Applying for leave

Need a day off? You apply right here — no forms, no chasing HR. This page shows you how.

Check your balance first

Open My Leaves from your sidebar. At the top you'll see your leave balances — one card per leave type your company gives you. Common types are:

  • Casual Leave — short personal time off.
  • Earned Leave — leave you build up over the year (also called privilege leave).
  • Sick Leave — for when you're unwell.

Each card shows how much you've used and how much is left. Your company decides which types you get and how many days.

Apply for leave

  1. Click Apply for Leave.
  2. Choose the leave type.
  3. Pick your From and To dates.
  4. Taking just half a day? Turn on the half-day option and pick first or second half.
  5. Webelio shows the total days — it skips your week-offs and holidays automatically, so you're not charged for them.
  6. Write a short reason.
  7. Click Submit.
info

Applying for more days than you have left? If your company allows it, the extra days become loss of pay (LWP) — unpaid time off. If it doesn't, Webelio asks you to shorten your request. Either way, it tells you before you submit.

Track your request

After you apply, your request shows as Pending. It goes to your manager or HR to approve.

  • When it's approved, those days are booked and your balance updates.
  • If it's rejected, nothing is deducted — check the reason and reapply if needed.

You can watch the status any time under My Leaves, in your leave history.

Cancelling leave

Plans changed? Whether you can cancel depends on timing:

SituationCan you cancel?
Still pending approvalYes — withdraw it any time.
Approved, and it hasn't started yetYes — your balance is returned.
Approved, but already started or in the pastAsk HR to cancel it for you.
The month is already finalized for payrollLocked — it can't be changed.

See who else is off — Team Calendar

In My Leaves, open the Team Calendar tab to see when your teammates are on leave. It's handy before you plan your own days off, so the team isn't short-staffed.

Comp-off

If you worked on a day off and your company gives comp-off (compensatory off) for it, HR grants those days to your balance. Once granted, comp-off appears as its own leave type and you apply for it just like any other leave.
