For managers — approving your team

Do you have people reporting to you? Then you get one extra screen the others don't: Team Approvals. This is where you review and act on your team's requests.

info

Only managers see Team Approvals. If it isn't in your sidebar, you don't have anyone reporting to you in Webelio — and there's nothing you need to do here.

Opening Team Approvals

Click Team Approvals in your sidebar. You'll see the requests from the people who report to you, waiting for your decision. Use the filter at the top to focus on one kind:

  • Leave requests — a team member has applied for time off.
  • Attendance corrections — a team member is asking to fix a day (a missed check-in, a wrong status).
  • Overtime requests — a team member is asking to be paid for extra hours they worked (if your company pays overtime with approval).

Reviewing a leave request

Each request shows who it's from, the leave type, the dates, the number of days, and their reason.

  1. Read the request and check the dates work for the team.
  2. Click Approve to grant it, or Reject if it can't happen.

When you approve leave, it moves on — depending on your company's setup, it's either booked straight away or passed to HR for a final sign-off. When you reject, the person is told and nothing is deducted from their balance.

tip

Before you approve, glance at the Team Calendar (in My Leaves) to see who else is already off. It helps you avoid too many people away at once.

Reviewing an attendance correction

An attendance-correction request shows the day in question, the times the person says are correct, and their reason.

  1. Check it matches what actually happened.
  2. Approve to update their day, or Reject if it's not right.

When you approve, that day's record is corrected automatically.

Reviewing an overtime request

An overtime request shows the day, the extra hours the person worked, and their reason. Approve it to send it on to HR for the final say (they'll pay it with that month's salary), or Reject it. You don't set the hours — Webelio uses the extra time actually worked that day.

Keeping requests moving

Your team can't take their leave or get their day fixed until you act. Try to clear your Team Approvals regularly so no one is left waiting — especially near the end of the month, before payroll is finalized and days lock.
